Pools page

The "Pools" page is your central hub for discovering and interacting with the various liquidity pools available on our platform. Understanding this page is key to finding opportunities to provide liquidity and earn rewards.

What is the Pools Page?

The Pools page provides a comprehensive list of all active liquidity pools. Here, you can:

  • Discover available pools: See all token pairs for which liquidity can be provided.

  • Assess pool performance: View key metrics for each pool to help you make informed decisions.

  • Navigate to pool details: Easily access more detailed information and actions for specific pools.

Information Displayed

For each pool listed, you'll typically find the following information:

  • Token Pair: The two assets that make up the pool (e.g., APT/USDC).

  • TVL (Total Value Locked): The total value of assets currently deposited in the pool by all liquidity providers. This is often a measure of the pool's size and depth.

  • Volume (24h): The total value of assets traded in the pool over the last 24 hours. Higher volume can indicate more trading activity and potentially more fees for liquidity providers.

  • APR (Annual Percentage Rate): An estimated annual rate of return for providing liquidity to that pool, based on recent trading fees and/or other incentives. This is often a projected figure and can fluctuate.

Searching and Filtering Pools

To help you find specific pools:

  • Search Bar: Look for a search bar, usually at the top of the list. You can type in the name or symbol of a token (e.g., "APT", "USDC") to filter the list and show only pools containing that token.

  • Filter Options: There might be options to filter pools by type (e.g., AMM, CLMM, Stable Swap) or sort them by TVL, Volume, or APR.

To learn more about a specific pool or to add/remove liquidity:

  1. Browse or search for the pool you're interested in on the Pools page.

  2. Click on the pool row. This will take you to the pool's dedicated detail page, where you'll find more in-depth information, charts, and options to "Add Liquidity" or "Remove Liquidity."

Understanding Pool Types

Our platform supports different types of liquidity pools, each with unique characteristics and mechanisms. Understanding these is crucial for effective liquidity provision:

  • AMM (Automated Market Maker) / Volatile Pools: These are standard pools for token pairs with fluctuating prices. Liquidity is typically provided across the entire price range.

  • CLMM (Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker) Pools: These allow liquidity providers to concentrate their capital within specific price ranges, potentially increasing capital efficiency.

  • Stable Swap Pools: Optimized for assets that are expected to maintain a tight price peg (e.g., stablecoins). They offer low slippage for trades between these pegged assets.

Choosing the right pool type depends on your strategy, risk tolerance, and the specific assets you wish to provide. We recommend reviewing the detailed guides for each pool type before adding liquidity.
